Canaima Small Batch Gin is a premium gin crafted in Venezuela, inspired by the Amazonian rainforest. The name "Canaima" refers to a national park in Venezuela that is home to some of the world's most unique flora and fauna. This gin is made with 10 botanicals, including four local Venezuelan botanicals that are unique to the Amazon rainforest: macana, araguaney, uva de palma, and merey. The other six botanicals are more traditional gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander, angelica root, and lemon peel.
The resulting gin is smooth, well-balanced, and full of flavor. On the nose, it has a pleasant citrus aroma with floral and herbal notes. On the palate, the gin is initially sweet with a fruity flavor, followed by a spicy and slightly bitter finish.
